University and Careers Guidance

Ambition from the earliest years. Direction for the future.
Ruth Frost, Head of Senior School
At Amity University and Careers guidance is a whole school journey.
From Early Years, where children first explore future roles through themed learning and visiting speakers, to the Diploma Years, where students submit applications to universities across the world, we cultivate aspiration, curiosity and informed ambition.
The progression is intentional, structured and personal.
A Whole School Approach
In the Primary Years, students explore the world of work through experiential learning and exposure to a wide range of professions. Curiosity is nurtured and possibilities are widened.
In the Middle Years, careers education becomes more focused. Through PSHCE and guided reflection, students identify strengths, interests and emerging ambitions. Subject choices are considered carefully, with future progression in mind.
From MY4 onwards, students use Unifrog to research global university systems, explore courses and entry requirements, track co-curricular and super curricular engagement, and build informed shortlists.
Personalised Guidance in the Diploma Years

In the Diploma Years, guidance becomes highly individual and strategically managed.
Our University and Careers Advisor provides one to one appointments, structured tracking meetings and tailored application planning. Students receive support with course research, institution comparison, personal statement writing, interview preparation and entrance examinations where required.
Applications across different countries follow varied systems and timelines. A clear internal review calendar ensures each application is carefully checked and submitted to the highest possible standard. Students are supported in managing deadlines, understanding specific national requirements and responding confidently to offers.
Every pathway is different. Every strategy is bespoke. Families are included throughout the process to ensure clarity and confidence at every stage.
University Engagement
Students benefit from sustained exposure to higher education and industry through university fairs, visiting representatives, guest speakers, parent professionals and university open days.
Choosing a university is a significant decision. Students are encouraged to research carefully, engage directly and evaluate fit thoughtfully.

Destinations and Outcomes
Our students apply across multiple countries and systems, including the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and Greece.
Recent offers have included University College London, King’s College London, the University of Leeds, Cardiff University, Swansea University, Goldsmiths, University of London and Falmouth University. These institutions are recognised globally for academic excellence and high standards.
