Amity 2026 Careers & University Fair Connects Students with Global Opportunities

Amity International School Amsterdam recently hosted its annual Careers & University Fair, a flagship event designed to help students explore future pathways and begin planning their journeys beyond school.

The evening began with an engaging Careers Panel Discussion hosted by Principal, Adrian Frost, featuring a distinguished group of Amity parents representing industries including law, artificial intelligence, engineering, global health, finance, technology and international business. We extend our sincere thanks to them for generously sharing their professional insights with our students.

The discussion explored the future of work, the impact of AI and technological change, and the importance of adaptability, communication, networking and global awareness in modern careers. Students asked thoughtful questions about career pathways, the balance between academic credentials and practical experience, and how young people can prepare for rapidly evolving industries.

Following the panel, the school hosted a major international University Fair featuring over 40 universities, transforming the school into a vibrant hub of conversations about future study and career pathways.

Representatives travelled from across the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Switzerland and beyond, giving students

and families the opportunity to speak directly with admissions teams about degree programmes, entry requirements and international study opportunities.

Prestigious institutions represented included Durham University, the University of Birmingham, Leiden University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, IE University, Bocconi University, the American University of Paris and EDHEC Business School, alongside a wide range of leading universities of applied sciences and specialist institutions across Europe.

The atmosphere throughout the evening was energetic and inspiring, with a remarkable turnout from Amity families and students from local schools. Conversations ranged from degree programmes and university life to internships, global career pathways and emerging fields of study.

Our sincere thanks go to the parents who generously contributed to the careers panel, and to Anne Jackson, Faye Field and the wider Amity team whose planning and organisation made the evening such a success.
