Amity International School Amsterdam (hereinafter referred to as Amity) understands that, due to the current situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, families might be affected by the uncertainty of employment and travel restrictions. Amity wishes to support these families, therefore:
- If students are enrolled at Amity but are unable to take up their seat due to a decision of the families’ employer and not through personal choice, Amity will consider at its sole discretion refunding the 2,500 euros deposit to the payee, provided Amity receives a letter from the employer stipulating the employer's decision and confirmation of the date of notification to the family.
- If a student’s anticipated start date is delayed due to travel restrictions or a decision made by the families’ employer, Amity is willing to hold the student’s seat open for a period of 8 consecutive weeks without imposing a holding fee provided Amity receives a letter from the families’ employer stipulating the employer's decision.
Each situation will be discussed with the Principal and will be considered on a case by case basis.
